Do you have a necklace in your collection that just sit there…unworn for months but you just don’t have the heart to get rid of it? That’s how I felt about my faux pearl necklace that I’ve literally had for years but only wore 2-3x. I was looking up some fun DIYs on pinterest to upscale my pearl necklace and came across THIS tutorial. I knew I had to try it myself and I loved how easy, unique, fun and cool this necklace turned out.
Here’s how you can create your very own Pearl Safety Pin necklace in less than 5 minutes!
You will need:
– Pearl Necklace
– Different sizes of safety pins (I prefer gold)
How to do it:
1) Sort your safety pins out by sizes.
2) Take the largest and add them to your pearl necklace. Be sure to leave large spaces in between.
3) Add medium sized safety pins in between the large. Keep adding till you have a safety pin in between each pearl.
4) Make fun criss crosses with your safety pin and randomly attach wherever you like.
5) You are done!
Loved how easy and fun this DIY was! The best part? If I ever change my mind about the safety pins or want to wear my pearls again, I just take the pins right off!
